The decision about how to feed child is a personal one, but breast milk as the best form of infant nutrition. The milk glands in woman's breasts may have started to make colostrum by now. Colostrum is the pre-milk that provides baby with calories and nutrients for the first few days. For some women, it is thin and watery. For others, it is thick and yellowish. If mother notice that breasts leaking colostrum, she can buy disposable or washable breast pads to protect her clothing.
